Hope Volunteer Fire Department announces 20-Gun Raffle fundraiser

HOPE — The Hope Volunteer Fire Department (HVFD) is launching a high-stakes fundraiser to bolster its lifesaving efforts, announcing a 20-gun raffle that will benefit equipment upgrades and firefighter training.

The department has partnered with Double G Guns & Archery of Flat Rock to provide a varied selection of firearms, including pistols, shotguns, and rifles.

Organizers are limiting the fundraiser to just 400 tickets, priced at $50 each. This exclusive number offers participants high odds of winning—a 1-in-20 chance for those who secure a ticket.

The drawing is scheduled for Sunday, April 25, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.

All funds raised will stay local, supporting operational needs, specialized training, and the purchase of critical fire-rescue equipment.

  • Special Event: Tickets will be sold on-site during the department’s upcoming Breakfast at the Fire House on Saturday, February 28, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The breakfast features biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and eggs.
