BEDFORD — The North Lawrence Stars have officially opened registration for the upcoming middle school softball season. Aspiring athletes in the community are invited to showcase their skills during a two-day tryout event held this week.
The tryouts are scheduled for Monday, February 2nd, and Wednesday, February 4th. Both sessions will run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
To accommodate the winter weather, evaluations will take place indoors at the Bedford North Lawrence (BNL) High School, specifically within the upstairs batting cages.
The program is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders within the North Lawrence Community Schools (NLCS) system. Athletes planning to attend should come prepared with the following essential gear:
- Softball glove
- Bat
- Batting helmet
Prospective players are encouraged to register in advance. A QR code is available on the official event flyer to streamline the sign-up process.
