BEDFORD – Serving Hope will kick off its first BBQ Bowl tips night tonight, Tuesday, Jan. 20, inviting the community to stop by Smokin’ Jim’s between 5 and 8 p.m. to support the organization’s local outreach.
Organizers said volunteers from Fayetteville Baptist Church, First Baptist, The Remnant and Popcorn Christian Church will be “battling it out” in a friendly competition to see who can get meals to customers the fastest.
All tips from the evening will go directly to Hope Resource Center to help support its work serving the community year-round.
