Bedford Public Library launches new adult book club in January

BEDFORD — The Bedford Public Library is launching a brand-new book club for adults this January, inviting readers to gather, discuss great books, and connect with fellow literature lovers in a relaxed, welcoming setting.

The new adult book club will meet for the first time on Monday, Jan. 12, at 6 p.m. and is open to anyone ages 18 and older. Participation is completely free, and there is no registration required — interested readers can simply show up and join the conversation.

For its first selection, the group will be reading Crocodile on the Sandbank by Elizabeth Peters.

Copies of the book are available digitally through Libby and hoopla for library users who prefer e-books or audiobooks. Readers interested in a physical copy are encouraged to contact the Adult Services desk at the library for assistance.

Community members looking for a new way to connect, read more, or simply enjoy thoughtful conversation are encouraged to attend the first meeting and see what the club has to offer.
