SPIN offering holiday cookie boxes to support Lawrence County residents in need

BEDFORD — Supporting People in Need (SPIN), a community outreach program operating through the Men’s Warming Shelter, is inviting residents to take part in its annual holiday cookie fundraiser on Friday, Dec. 19. The group, known for its dedicated volunteers and popular baked goods, has served more than 1,000 people throughout Lawrence County in the past year.

Cookie boxes will be available from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at SPIN, located at 1414 H St. in Bedford. A suggested donation of $25 provides one dozen cookies, while a $40 donation is recommended for two dozen. All proceeds stay in Lawrence County and directly support individuals and families in need.

SPIN is also offering free delivery within Bedford city limits. Organizers say the cookie boxes make ideal gifts for teachers, co-workers, church staff or anyone who enjoys homemade holiday treats.

Orders may be placed online at the provided link. For more information or to schedule a pickup or delivery, residents can visit the SPIN ordering page or stop by the shelter during the event.
