CROWN POINT – The Hard Hat Charity Golf Outing, hosted by the Northwest Indiana Business RoundTable (NWIBRT), returned to the course this year, with hundreds of golfers from over 70 companies in the region gathering for fun, networking, and a record-breaking fundraising effort for local causes.
Charitable contributions at this year’s event were more than double that of just two years ago, with companies and matching programs raising $84,000 for five area nonprofits. Those receiving donations from this year’s event are:
- Goodwill Industries of Michiana
- Northwest Indiana Influential Women’s Association
- Opportunity Enterprises
- Pirates, Inc.
- Tradewinds Services
“Each year, our goal is to make a meaningful impact, and this year’s totals exceeded our expectations,” said Tom Gozdecki of EMCOR Hyre Electric, co-chair of the 2025 NWIBRT Hard Hat Golf Committee. “Raising $84,000 shows how deeply our partners care about strengthening our community.”
The two-day outing was held at the prestigious White Hawk Country Club in Crown Point, through the collaborative efforts of the Northwest Indiana Building and Construction Trades Council and the Construction Advancement Foundation (CAF).
