BLOOMINGTON — Local brainpower will be on full display again next year as Bloomington Parks and Recreation launches its 2026 citywide Trivia Series, culminating in a championship showdown on December 4 to determine Bloomington’s Trivia Champion.
Teams can compete throughout the year, with each nightly winner earning an automatic spot in the Championship Tournament. Cumulative point leaders from the series will also qualify, ensuring that consistent high-performing teams have their shot at the title. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams at every event.

Teams of up to six players may register for $32 per night, or sign up for the full 2026 season at a discounted rate of $160. Registration for the new season opens December 17, with limited on-site registration available.
The Cabin Restaurant and Lounge will return as the event’s food and beverage partner, offering meals, soft drinks, beer, and wine for purchase throughout the evening.
The first trivia night of the new season will take place Friday, January 16, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Switchyard Park. The City of Bloomington encourages early registration as spots tend to fill quickly.
