BEDFORD — WBIW 1340 AM has announced the first four winners of its annual Christmas Card Cash giveaway, a holiday tradition that rewards listeners simply for sending in a Christmas card.
This week’s randomly selected winners are:
$5 — Laci Mullis of Mitchell
$10 — Michele Cox of Bedford
$15 — Susan Jones of Oolitic
$20 — Edie Hickman of Paoli
Hundreds of cards have already started filling the station’s walls, each one entering its sender into the weekly drawing. Participants can mail in one card per person, per week, and every card received enters that listener into a drawing for four cash prizes at the end of each week.
The next winner will be announced on Friday, December 12th.
Cards will be accepted through Friday, December 19th, and all entries—whether previously selected or not—will be included in a final drawing on Monday, December 22nd. One lucky listener will receive the contest’s Grand Prize: $100 cash.
