BEDFORD — Lawrence County residents have an opportunity tomorrow to directly influence decisions that will shape the community’s future for years to come. The Lawrence County Economic Growth Council and the Community Foundation Partnership are hosting a public input session on Tuesday, December 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Stonegate Arts and Education Center, and organizers say they are hoping to see a strong community turnout.

The session will focus on Lawrence County’s Quality of Place/Workforce Attraction Plan. This long-range effort influences everything from housing options and local development to workforce recruitment and overall quality of life. Input gathered from attendees will play a key role in guiding county priorities and investments over the next several years.
Organizers emphasize that issues such as housing availability, workforce retention, childcare, recreation, job access, and infrastructure affect every resident, meaning community voices are not only valuable but necessary.
All residents are encouraged to attend, share ideas, ask questions, and help contribute to a vision for a stronger, more connected Lawrence County.
Doors open at 5 p.m. No registration is required.
