MITCHELL — The Mitchell Community Public Library will welcome young children and their caregivers for a cozy, winter-themed Storytime on Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 11 a.m. in the Children’s Department.
The program, designed for ages 5 and under, will celebrate all things hot chocolate with warm-hearted stories, scarf songs, a winter craft, and a sensory, make-believe hot cocoa activity aimed at sparking imaginations. Featured books include The Last Marshmallow by Grace Lin and Hot Cocoa Calm by Kira Willey.

Library staff say the event is intended to blend early literacy with hands-on play in a way that helps young children connect reading to positive, comforting memories. Families are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early, as Storytime sessions often fill quickly during the winter season.
