BEDFORD – Winter sports season is officially here, and the Bedford Parks Department is opening registration for three popular leagues: Men’s Basketball, Women’s & Coed Volleyball, and Indoor Pickleball. Sign-ups are underway now, with all registrations closing on Wednesday, November 19, at 4 p.m.
Teams will play a 10-game schedule, and league fees vary by sport. Winter sessions begin the first week of December.
The Men’s Basketball League will tip off on December 3, with games every Wednesday evening at 6, 7, and 8 p.m. Volleyball returns with both Women’s and Coed divisions, playing at Parkview Primary on Monday and Wednesday nights. Pickleball will again be capped due to limited court availability — only 12 Coed, 6 Men’s, and 6 Women’s teams will be accepted, and each division will compete in a single-skill bracket.
Schedules for all leagues will be available for pickup starting November 25.
