56th Annual Fort Vallonia Days is Oct. 18-19

VALLONIA—The annual Vallonia Days Festival, held on October 18-19, draws large crowds to the small community for a celebration of local heritage, history, and family fun. The festival, which celebrates the historic town and its landmark Fort Vallonia, featured a variety of events, vendors, and entertainment for all ages.

The weekend highlights traditional activities, including historical reenactments, live music, and a large display of antique tractors and vintage cars. Local non-profits and craft vendors filled the grounds, offering a diverse range of goods, from handmade items to classic festival fare.

Vallonia Days is all about connecting with history and bringing the community together.

The event is a major fundraiser for the upkeep of the historic Fort Vallonia, which is known for its focus on the region’s early French and pioneer history.
