Kid’s Fall Safety Fest set for Sept. 23 in Seymour

SEYMOUR Families are invited to enjoy an afternoon of fun, games, and valuable safety education at this year’s Kids’ Fall Safety Fest on Tuesday, Sept. 23, from 4 to 7 p.m.

The event will take place in the Robertson Mill parking lot behind Peace Lutheran Church on Tipton Street. Organizers say the festival is designed to provide children with engaging activities while offering parents access to important safety resources.

One of the highlights will be free car seat inspections, offered by the Automotive Safety Program and the Seymour Police Department. Certified technicians will be available to ensure car seats are properly installed and meet safety standards.

In addition to the safety programming, children can enjoy games and seasonal activities, making the event both educational and family-friendly.

Local organizations or businesses interested in setting up a booth can contact Lt. Michael Cooper at 812-522-5131 for more details.
