Cornhole players wanted for Bedford’s ‘Cruise Into Fall’ showdown Sept. 20

BEDFORD — Grab your partner, bring your best toss, and get ready to compete — Bedford’s Cruise Into Fall Cornhole Tournament is calling all players to the boards on Saturday, September 20, at Thornton Park.

The tournament, part of the Cruise Into Fall Car, Truck & Bike Show hosted by WQRK and the Bedford Parks Department, will kick off at 10:30 a.m. and promises to bring out some of the area’s best bag-toss talent. With only 32 teams allowed, spots are limited — and they’re expected to fill quickly.

Registration is just $20 per person, and everything you need to play will be provided, including the bags. Matches will follow a single-elimination format, with each contest decided in a best-of-three series. That means every throw counts, every round matters, and the competition will be fierce from the very first toss.

The Cornhole Tournament isn’t just about winning — it’s about the energy of the crowd, the thrill of friendly rivalry, and the fun of being part of one of Bedford’s most popular fall events. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just someone who loves the game at backyard cookouts, this is your chance to shine in front of a crowd.

Players can register now at WQRK.com, but with the field capped at 32 teams, early sign-up is strongly encouraged.

So rally your team, get those throws dialed in, and claim your place in the tournament. On Sept. 20, Bedford won’t just be showing off cars and bikes — it will be showcasing the best Cornhole players Southern Indiana has to offer.
