WASHINGTON — Purdue Extension–Daviess County will host a ServSafe Food Protection Manager training and exam on Thursday, October 9, at the Daviess County 4-H Grounds in Washington.
The certification, ServSafe’s highest, covers foodborne microorganisms and allergens, personal hygiene, purchasing and storage, food preparation and service, and facilities and sanitation. The class begins with registration at 8:15 a.m., and the exam will be administered at the end of the session.

The cost is $165, which includes the book, instruction and exam, for those registered by September 29.
