BEDFORD – The Little Theatre of Bedford has announced its exciting lineup for season tickets now on sale for the 2025-2026 season. The four-show season features a mix of musicals and beloved plays.

The season opens with a chilling production of “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street,” directed by Megan Barnard. Stephen Sondheim’s dark musical tale of revenge and meat pies will run on Friday, September 26, and Saturday, September 27, as well as Friday, October 3, and Saturday, October 4, all at 7 p.m.
As the holidays approach, the theater will present Barbara Robinson’s family favorite, “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever,” directed by Tomi Carroll. This heartwarming comedy, filled with chaotic charm, will be performed Thursday, Dec. 4; Friday, Dec. 5; Thursday, Dec. 11; Friday, Dec. 12; and Saturday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m. Matinee performances are scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 6; Sunday, Dec. 7; and Sunday, Dec. 14, all at 2:30 p.m.
The winter season brings Robert Harling’s poignant drama, “Steel Magnolias,” directed by Ashlyn Taylor. Set in a small-town Louisiana beauty salon, the play explores themes of friendship, resilience, and love. Performances are scheduled for Friday, February 20; Saturday, February 21; Friday, February 27; and Saturday, February 28, all at 7:00 p.m. Matinee shows will be held on Sunday, February 22, and Sunday, March 1, at 2:30 p.m.
The 2025-2026 season will conclude with Rodgers & Hammerstein’s classic musical, “Cinderella,” directed by Daniel Baker. Known for its dazzling ball scenes and timeless songs, this production will run Thursday, May 7; Friday, May 8; Saturday, May 9; Thursday, May 14; Friday, May 15; and Saturday, May 16, at 7 p.m. Matinee performances are set for Sunday, May 10, and Sunday, May 17, at 2:30 p.m.
