BEDFORD – JC’s Christian Academy has released its academic calendar for the 2025-2026 school year, outlining key dates for students and staff. The calendar shows a total of 180 instructional days.
The academic year will commence with in-service teacher days on August 4-5. The first day of school for 9th-12th graders is set for August 6, followed by the first day for K5-8th graders on August 12.
Looking ahead to the fall, students will observe Labor Day on September 1, and K3-K4 students will have their first day of school on September 2. Fall Break is scheduled from October 13-17, with no school during that period. Thanksgiving Break will take place from November 24-28. The first semester concludes with the end of the 2nd 9-Weeks on December 19, and Christmas Break runs from December 22 to January 2.
In the new year, students return on January 5 for the first day of the second semester. Martin Luther King Jr. Day will be observed on January 19, with no school. Presidents’ Day is marked as a no-school day or snow make-up day on February 16. Spring Break is scheduled for March 23-27.
The school year will wrap up in May, with the last day for K3, K4, and K5 on May 15. The end of the 4th 9-Weeks and second semester is May 21. The last instructional day for Early Dismissal is May 22.
Early dismissals are also scheduled on various dates throughout the year, including August 12, February 11, December 10, January 14 and 28, February 11 and 25, March 11, and May 5 and 13. E-Learning Days are planned for October 7 and November 4.
