Montgomery seeks $50,000 for new downtown community space

MONTGOMERY – The Daviess County town of Montgomery is launching a crowdfunding campaign to develop a new community space in its downtown area. The project aims to raise $50,000 by September 1st.

If the campaign successfully reaches its goal, the Town of Montgomery will receive a matching grant through the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority’s (IHCDA) “CreatINg Places” program.

Funds raised from this initiative will be used to transform the downtown space by adding a new mural, seating areas with a shade canopy, a water feature, green space, new signage, decorative lighting, and paved parking.
