WASHINGTON — Daviess County 4-H has opened its annual livestock pen reservations for the 2025 fair season, with the registration window set through July 1.

Members planning to exhibit animals must reserve their pens online via 4-H Online and follow all instructions provided in the registration portal. Fees vary by species, with beef and dairy cattle reservations costing $12 per head, and goat, sheep and swine pens available at $8 per head. Rabbit and poultry exhibitors will not be charged, but no bedding will be provided for those pens.
“This helps us plan appropriately for the number of animals coming to the fair,” said Teeny Davis, 4-H youth development educator for Daviess County. “Pen reservations are critical for our setup process and for ensuring a smooth experience for all participants.”
For assistance with registration, participants are encouraged to contact the Daviess County Extension Office at (812) 254-8668 or email Davis at davi2072@purdue.edu.
More details can be found by visiting the 4-H Online portal or contacting local 4-H leaders.
