Buddy Guy, 88, is a towering figure in the world of blues music. An eight-time Grammy Award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, he’s widely considered one of the greatest guitarists of all time. His expressive playing and fiery stage presence have influenced icons like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and John Mayer.
Born in Lettsworth, Louisiana, and rising to fame in the Chicago blues scene, Guy is best known for hits like “Stone Crazy,” “Feels Like Rain,” and “Damn Right, I’ve Got the Blues.” He has earned 38 Blues Music Awards and a Presidential National Medal of Arts.
The Brown County Music Center show is expected to be a packed house as fans from across the Midwest gather to honor one of the last living legends of the blues.
Again, to secure the free tickets, email timberbrowningwbiw@gmail.com immediately — only one pair is available, and it’s first-come, first-served.
