INDIANA—Through the 2025 Summer Food Service Program, Thousands of Indiana students aged 18 and younger will have access to free, nutritious meals and snacks this summer. More than 1,000 locations statewide are participating in the initiative, which aims to ensure that children continue to receive healthy food when school is out.
Households can find detailed information about meal types and serving days by utilizing the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Summer Meals Site Finder.
Locally, Washington Community Schools will distribute meals for off-site consumption every Tuesday beginning June 10th and continuing through July 29th. Pick-ups will take place at Gate 4 of the High School between 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Each household child is eligible to receive five breakfasts, five lunches, and milk for five days per weekly pickup. To ensure proper distribution, only parents or legal guardians are permitted to pick up the meals.
