ODON – VFW Post 9627 in Odon has announced the relocation of its American flag drop box. Previously located at Town Hall, the drop box, which accepts torn and tattered American flags for proper disposal, is now situated at the VFW post.
Residents are encouraged to bring their worn flags to the new location for respectful and appropriate retirement.
In observance of Flag Day on June 14, VFW Post 9627 will partner with Scout Troop 481 to host a ceremonial flag retirement event. The community is invited to attend this event and honor the nation’s symbol with dignity.
