INDIANA – Ten promising individuals are set to compete for seven coveted Indiana FFA state officer positions during the upcoming 96th Indiana State Convention. The selected officers will serve as president, secretary, northern region vice president, southern region vice president, treasurer, reporter, and sentinel for the upcoming academic year.

The highly anticipated Indiana State Convention will take place from June 16 to 19 at Purdue University in West Lafayette. The rigorous interview and selection process will culminate in the official announcement of the officer on June 19.
The convention itself is packed with opportunities for the more than 14,400 Indiana FFA members expected to attend, featuring leadership workshops, banquets, and trade shows designed to foster growth and development.

Lieutenant Governor Micah Beckwith expressed admiration for the candidates, stating, “I’ve had the privilege of meeting with many FFA members this year, and every one of them has been a perfect example of the hardworking Hoosier spirit. Don Lamb, Indiana State Department of Agriculture Director, added, “Our state has talented individuals with passion, commitment, and a strong work ethic. I wish each and every candidate the best as they head into State Convention.”
