BEDFORD — The Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County will host Little League District Tryouts today, June 9, at Baugh Field in Wiley Youth Park. The event is open to young athletes ages 9 to 12 and will help determine district-level team placement.
Tryouts for players ages 9 and 10 will run from 6:00 to 7:15 p.m., followed by sessions for players ages 11 and 12 from 7:15 to 8:30 p.m.
The tryouts are part of the local Little League program’s effort to identify top talent for upcoming district competitions. Families are encouraged to arrive early to allow time for check-in and warm-ups.
The event, supported by Little League Baseball, aims to promote sportsmanship, skill development, and community engagement among youth players.
