MITCHELL– The historic Talbott Cemetery will hold its annual meeting on Sunday, June 1, at 2 p.m. The meeting will be preceded by a pitch-in lunch at 12:30 p.m.
This long-standing tradition has been ongoing for over 180 years, initially beginning as a clean-up effort for the cemetery. The cemetery is now reportedly well-maintained.
Anyone wishing to contribute to the cemetery’s upkeep may send donations to Michelle Porter at 1296 Noe Road, Orleans, IN 47452, or to Jamie Kirk at 1211 Bono Road, Mitchell, IN 47446.
