BEDFORD— Southern Indiana’s most exciting event for seniors is back, and everything is completely free. The 2025 Senior Fair, presented by Vertical Home Health and hosted by Classic Hits 105.5 WQRK, 102.5 Litefm, and 1340 WBIW, kicks off Tuesday, May 21, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church, 508 Fellowship Drive in Bedford.
Whether you’re retired, nearing retirement, or a caregiver, this event is packed with activities, giveaways, and resources designed just for you. With over 50 vendors on-site, attendees can enjoy a full day of free services, entertainment, and helpful information.
The first 100 people through the door will receive a special “Door Buster” prize. WBIW will host two $100 cash giveaways at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. (must be present to win), and will give away essential household items every hour. Many vendors will offer free items, drawings, and door prizes throughout the day, so make your way around the Senior Fair and sign up to win!
Free health screenings will be available all day, including blood pressure checks by Vertical Home Health, eyesight tests by the Bedford Lions Club, and many more.
Ferguson Lee Funeral Home will present three short pre-planning seminars at 8:30, 9:30, and 10:30 a.m., each lasting about 25 minutes. After the seminars, all those who attended are entered to win $100 cash!
Free bingo is back and will be played from 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., and prizes will be awarded throughout the games.
A free lunch will be provided by Stonebridge Health Campus from 12 to 1 p.m., featuring pulled pork and chicken salad sandwiches. Magic Morning Bakery will serve free coffee, cookies, and donuts, and fresh popcorn will be available all day!
EZ Leasing will provide transportation from the parking lot to the church entrance, making it easy for everyone to attend.
