Deadline TODAY for Indiana 4-H animal identification

BEDFORD—Indiana 4-H members are reminded that today, Thursday, May 15, is the final deadline for animal identification to be eligible for county fairs and the Indiana State Fair.

By the end of the day, all animals must be completely and correctly identified in the Indiana 4-H Online system (https://www.4honline.com).

In addition, required DNA hair samples for swine, meat goats, sheep, dairy cattle, and beef cattle intended for exhibition at the Indiana State Fair 4-H shows must also be submitted to the respective County Extension Office by today’s deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.

4-H officials are urging members not to wait until the last minute to identify their animals. Those who have already completed the identification process are thanked for their timely submissions.
