JACKSON COUNTY — The Jackson County Public Library is hosting a series of “Summer Kick-Off” events at its various branches to celebrate the start of the summer season. The events will take place in Seymour, Crothersville, and Medora and are open to individuals of all ages.
The kick-off in Seymour is scheduled for Thursday, May 29, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Jackson County Public Library, located at 303 W. 2nd St. Attendees can expect community agencies to be present, along with games, a bouncy house, and other activities.

In Crothersville, the summer kick-off will be held on Friday, May 30, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Crothersville Library, situated at 120 E. Main St. The event will feature games, snacks, art activities, and more.
The Medora Library, located at 27 W. Main St., will host its Summer Kick-Off on Tuesday, June 3, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., also offering games, snacks, art, and other engaging activities for all ages.
