IU Health Bloomington Hospice to host Camp Good Grief for grieving children

BLOOMINGTON– IU Health Bloomington Hospice is offering Camp Good Grief, a program designed to support children aged 6-16 who have experienced the loss of a loved one. The camp aims to address the feelings of isolation and misunderstanding that children often face after a death, and to provide them with tools to cope with their grief.

Camp Good Grief will use art, music, and play to help campers connect with other children who have experienced similar losses. Participants will learn positive coping skills, find ways to preserve memories, and honor their loved ones.

The camp will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Indiana University Hilltop Garden and Nature Center at 2367 E. 10th St., Bloomington, IN 47408. Lunch will be provided for the campers.

Participation in Camp Good Grief is free and limited to 45 campers. The registration deadline is May 25, 2025.
