Magical evening planned to benefit Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in Greene County

GREENE CO. – Get ready for a heartwarming evening of family fun for a fantastic cause. United Way of South Central Indiana is partnering with Fowler Pumpkin Patch to host a special event on Saturday, May 3rd, from 4 to 8 p.m., all in support of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in Greene County.

The event will take place at the Fowler Pumpkin Patch, located at 5060 N. Greene County Line Road in Bloomington, and promises a magical atmosphere for all ages. Admission is free, offering the community an excellent opportunity to come together and support early childhood literacy.

Attendees can look forward to a variety of engaging activities, including a raffle and a silent auction. Don’t forget to bring cash for the raffle. You’ll also enjoy delicious eats from The Huddle Grill & Chill Food Truck and sweet treats from Bruster’s Ice Cream.

The evening will also be filled with the sounds of live music, featuring the talented Rachael Lee James from 4 to 6 p.m. and the captivating Marvin Holt from 6 to 8 p.m. Adding to the excitement, a fire truck will be making a special visit, and there will be fun Dolly Parton-themed photo opportunities. For adults, a cash bar offering beer and wine will also be available.

This family-friendly event aims to raise vital funds for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. This program currently provides over 600 children in Greene County with free, age-appropriate books each month, helping to foster a love of reading from an early age.
