

EASTERN HEIGHTS – Bedford North Lawrence swept both team titles in the Eastern Greene Invitational during high school track action on Tuesday night.
The Stars won eight events to win the seven-team boys meet with 192 points, while BNL claimed five events to take the girls meet with 168 points.
Orion Hill and Tripp Stahl were standouts in the throwing events during the boys meet, taking the top two spots in the shot put and discus. Hill won the discus at 147-3, while Stahl took the blue ribbon in the shot put at 45-8.
Other winners for BNL included Luke Morris (16.27 in the 110 high hurdles), Frank Decker (11.76 in the 100), Jonah Bailey (4:52.62 in the 1600), Tucker Inman (3200 in 10:44.31), and Brayden Patterson (6-0 in the high jump).
The Stars also won the 400 relay as Hiram Mullis, Decker, Driven Axsom and Porter Brown combined to clock 46.36.
In the girls meet, BNL won two relays. Elise Williams, Paige Voigtschild, Claire Voigtschld and Francesca Orozco crossed first in the 3200 relay in 11:31.99, while Rachael Barr, Trinity Schmeichel, Ava Prince and Tori Kiser won the 400 relay in 57.29.
Other winners included Paige Voigtschild (12:53.14 in the 3200), Macey Lambrecht (30-1.5 in the shot put) and Avery Brown (7-0 in the pole vault).
BNL will host Springs Valley, Mitchell and Barr-Reeve on Wednesday.
