At 1:02 a.m.., Bunch reportedly texted, “I just want to put my hands around your neck Mabey I should do your boy in bitch.” The following minute, another message allegedly stated, “We just stared bitch your going to pay.” At 1:47 a.m.., a message read, “It’s called body language no matter if your paying there bills the things you have said to me are very sick indeed and I going to let this go and I hope I don’t see u ever again and if I do see your sick ass I going to react see you soon killer a d rapest your going to hate the next 12 hours you need to die in this ring.” The final message at 1:47 a.m.. allegedly said, “Die die doe.” The male victim reportedly told Officer Callahan that he did not understand what Bunch was referring to in the messages.

The affidavit further states that on Friday, March 21, 2025, Officer Callahan spoke with the female mentioned in the text messages, who was incarcerated in the Lawrence County Jail. She reportedly stated that Bunch lives near her on South Last Horse Lane, but that she has never been in a relationship with him. She also claimed that Bunch had been threatening her son and that she tries to avoid him, stating that he often causes issues when intoxicated and possibly uses methamphetamine.
Based on these facts and circumstances, Officer Callahan stated he had probable cause to believe that Bunch had committed the offenses of intimidation and harassment.
Bunch was reportedly arrested in Monroe County on a warrant out of Morgan County on March 20, 2025. At the time of the affidavit, Officer Callahan had not yet been able to speak with Bunch.
Bunch was arrested on the Lawrence County charges on Thursday, April 10.
