Lawrence County Independent Schools to host immunization clinic for middle school students

BEDFORD—

The Lawrence County Health Department will provide an immunization clinic for 5th—and 6th-grade students attending LCIS (Lawrence County Independent Schools) on April 29th, 2025. The clinic will run from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the school.

According to an announcement from the school district, students participating in the clinic must bring their insurance card. However, the health department assures that vaccines will still be provided to students who do not have insurance; these individuals are asked to inform the health department upon arrival.

The initiative aims to ensure students are up-to-date on required immunizations. Parents or guardians with questions regarding the clinic are encouraged to contact the Health Department directly at 812-275-3234.

LCIS is located at 223 Old Farm Road in Bedford, Indiana, serving Lawrence County.
