BEDFORD– A Heltonville man will serve time in the Indiana Department of Correction after a judge found he failed to comply with the terms of his probation.
Landarius R. Hoskins was sentenced on Thursday, April 3, by Lawrence Superior Court II Judge Robert Cline.

The sentencing stems from a previous guilty plea entered on February 22, 2024. As part of a negotiated plea agreement with the State of Indiana, Hoskins pleaded guilty to Theft, a Level 6 felony. He was initially sentenced to 910 days, with 896 days suspended. In exchange for his guilty plea, Hoskins was ordered to serve 545 days on supervised probation.
However, according to court records, Hoskins failed to adhere to the conditions of his probation. As a result, on April 3, Judge Cline revoked his probation. The court then sentenced Landarius Ramon Hoskins to 850 days in the Indiana Department of Correction and terminated his probation unsuccessfully.
The State of Indiana was represented in the proceedings by Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Kristen Meza.
