VINCENNES – Vincennes University, in collaboration with the Jackson County Learning Center, is offering an evening course focused on Microsoft Excel training. The 40-hour, 12-week program is scheduled to take place Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., beginning May 6, 2025, and concluding June 12, 2025.
The course, designed to provide comprehensive Excel knowledge, will cover topics ranging from basic workbook creation to advanced data analysis and collaborative features. Participants will learn how to format data, utilize page layout options, work with numbers and formulas, incorporate shapes and elements, create charts and graphs, and effectively share and collaborate on spreadsheets.
The curriculum includes instruction on navigating Excel, saving workbooks, applying cell formats, adjusting page setup, sorting data, using formulas, inserting hyperlinks, creating various chart types, and managing revisions. The total completion time for the course is listed as 39 hours, and the cost is $525.
