Troy Road closure in Daviess County delayed until March 10th

DAVIESS CO.– Motorists in Daviess County should be aware of a revised schedule for an upcoming road closure. The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has announced a delay in the planned closure of a section of Troy Road.

Originally scheduled for an earlier date, the closure will begin on or after Monday, March 10th. This delay pushed the start of the project back by approximately one week.

Troy Road will be closed between County Road 250 South and US 150 for approximately six days, with the closure in effect 24 hours a day. This closure is necessary for INDOT to complete a pipe replacement project.

During the closure, motorists are advised to follow the designated detour route. The detour will direct drivers along County Road 250 South to State Road 57.

INDOT urges drivers to plan accordingly and allow extra time for travel in the area during the closure period. They also advise motorists to be mindful of construction signage and follow the posted detour routes to ensure safety.
