Aspiring young musicians are invited to explore the world of band at the BMS Beginning Band Night on Monday, March 10th. The event, hosted at the BMS Auditorium, will run from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and offers students the chance to try out a variety of band instruments.
The evening will provide a hands-on experience for students interested in joining the band program. Participants can learn about the different instruments, discover what it means to be a band member, and even reserve their instrument for the upcoming school year.
The event flyer features quotes from current band members, highlighting the social and personal benefits of joining the band. “Band is always a family!” says an 8th-grade trumpet player. A 7th-grade percussionist adds, “Band is a great place to find friends!”
Students unable to attend the event but still interested in joining the band can email Band Director Miss Frash at Frashh@nics.k12.in.us.
The event aims to inspire and encourage students to explore their musical talents and join the BMS band community.
