Purdue Extension-Greene County will host a workshop, “Grow Your Own Medicine: Cultivating Medicinal Plants at Home,” on February 17, 2025, from 6 to 9 p.m. This educational event will cover various topics related to growing and using medicinal herbs safely and effectively.
Participants will learn about essential medicinal plants suitable for home gardens, receive planting and care tips, and learn to harvest and store herbs properly. The workshop will also cover crafting teas, salves, and oils and emphasize safety and sustainable gardening practices.
The program will be held at the Greene Co. Extension Office at 4503 W. State Road 54, Bloomfield, IN 47424.
