Kids to Parks Day Celebrations, volunteers needed

BLOOMINGTON – The Kids to Parks Day Celebration program encourages children and families to connect with nature, foster a love for outdoor activities, and promote a healthy and active lifestyle! Volunteers are needed to help with setup, teardown, and supervising activities and games.

The event will be held on May 18th at Lower Cascade Park Sycamore Shelter.

The Bloomington Parks and Recreation is looking for three volunteers 16 years and up per shift: 1:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. On-site training is provided. Volunteers under 18 must have an Underage Waiver of Liability signed by a parent or guardian and bring it with them when they arrive for their shift. Click here to fill out the digital waiver.
