BEDFORD—The County Commissioners met today in the Lawrence County Courthouse council chambers. The main topic of discussion was using the Courthouse property for two upcoming events.
Brad Bough presented before the Commissioners to use the Courthouse grounds for an event on Memorial Day, May 27, at 9 a.m. to honor Lawrence County Veterans.
Sarah Tupen presented on behalf of the Limestone Heritage Festival and asked permission to use the grounds on June 28 and 29 to host the event.
The commissioners voted on and approved both requests.
