BEDFORD- The Lawrence County Commissioners met today and business addressed at the meeting included reports from various departments. The Highway Department reported that work on Stonington Road is happening now through Thursday and updated the commissioners on the progress of the Mill Creek Bridge, saying that beams are being set on the structure
Sheriff Greg Day reported 101 inmates in Lawrence County Jail. 77 are male, 24 are female. Six are DOC holds, six are parole holds, and six are level 6 felons.
