Kiwanis Club of Oolitic seeks sponsors to keep their Fish Fry Stand operational

OOLITIC- The Kiwanis Fish Fry in Oolitic began in 1984 with the goal of funding scholarships and projects to better our community. The event is traditionally held on the first Saturday of each month at 222 Hoosier Avenue in Oolitic and raises anywhere from $700-1500 to be put directly to service projects, donations to families in need, sponsorships, and so much more. The Kiwanis Club has risen to the call time and time again when there was a need in the community, and now they are asking the public to show some good faith in return.

Unfortunately, the club has not been able to host the Fish Fry for the past few months due to equipment issues. After years of service, fryers need to be replaced, and the exhaust system needs to be brought up to code. The necessary work will cost $20,000, and about a quarter of that figure has already been raised.

Sponsors are needed to get the Fish Fry Stand back up and running. Donors who contribute $100 or more will have their names printed on a sign at the fish stand, and a donation of $300 or more will also have their logo printed. Donations can be mailed to PO Box 212, Oolitic, IN 47451. Please email any logos to oolitickiwanis@gmail.com.

The Kiwanis Club of Oolitic is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization; donations are tax-deductible. You will be mailed a receipt for your sponsorship.
