BNL’s Spreen named to Supreme 15 All-State team

BEDFORD – Bedford North Lawrence’s Chloe Spreen was named to the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association’s Supreme 15 All-State team.

Spreen, an Alabama recruit and one of the frontrunners for Miss Basketball, averaged 20.9 points and 6.9 rebounds while leading the Stars to a 20-5 record and their 13th consecutive Class 4A sectional title. She finished second on the school’s career scoring list with 1,869 points.

Other players of note on the Supreme 15 include Lake Central’s Aniyah Bishop, Mooresville’s Rachel Harshman, Fishers’ Talia Harris, Fort Wayne Snider’s Jordyn Poole, Noblesville’s Reagan Wilson and Jennings County’s Juliann Woodard.

BNL’s Madisyn Bailey was named Honorable Mention All-State for the senior class. Bailey, on her way to Marian, averaged 11.5 points and 4.2 assists. BNL freshman Miley Sherrill was named Honorable Mention for the underclass team. Sherrill averaged 9.0 points and 4.8 rebounds.
