Star System Percussion has their first performance

BEDFORD – On Saturday, February 10th, the Bedford North Lawrence (BNL) Star System Percussion group performed their show Piano Man at Franklin Central High School.

The Star System Percussion is a winter percussion group that travels to compete, similar to the marching bands, but only uses percussion instruments and performs in gymnasiums. 

Their show Piano Man features the song Piano Man by Billy Joel, Fur Elise by Beethoven, and Moonlight Sonata by Mozart.

They placed second out of seven groups that performed with a score of 61.600. Terre Haute South finished first only by 0.2 of a point in front of the Star System Percussion.

Their next performance will be at Northview High School on Saturday, February 17th.  This is a must-see performance that will support the Star System Percussion.
