Man sentenced to 730 days in Lawrence County Jail

BEDFORD – On Thursday, January 25, Lawrence Superior Court II Judge Robert Cline sentenced a Bedford man to the Indiana Department of Correction after failing to follow his probation terms.

Kenneth R. Price Jr., 61, Bedford, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle with a controlled substance, a Class C misdemeanor, but being a habitual vehicular substance offender as part of a negotiation plea deal.

On July 1, 2023, he was sentenced to 60 days in jail and given credit for eight days served on the OWI offense. He was sentenced to four years for being a habitual vehicular substance offender with 730 days served on house arrest,

However, Price failed to comply with the terms of his probation and was arrested on January 25, 2024.

Judge Cline sentenced Price to serve 730 days in the Lawrence County Jail.
