BEDFORD – Firefighters from Shawswick Township, Marshall Township, and Oolitic Volunteer Fire Departments responded to a report of a garage fire Monday night.
When firefighters arrived at 10:34 p.m. to the 1000 block of Breezy Hill Lane, the building was engulfed in flames.
“A neighbor noticed the blaze and knocked on the homeowner’s door, alerting him to the blaze,” said Shawswick VFD Chief Bob Brown. “The garage was destroyed. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.”
A Lawrence County Fire Territory Ambulance responded to the scene.
