GOSPORT – A fire in Gosport on Saturday displaced a mother, Heather Laurin, and her three children.
Crews from Owen Valley Fire Territory were called to assist Gosport Volunteer Fire Department with manpower on a structure fire in the 8200 block of Stone Mountain Road.
The dropping temperatures made firefighting even more difficult due to freezing gear.
Unit 4 and Rescue 48 responded to the call, assisting with interior attack and overhaul operations.
Also assisting was Cataract Volunteer Fire Department.
There is a GoFundMe campaign to assist the family.
