LOOGOOTEE – Captain Kelly Rayhill has been promoted to Loogoottee Police Department to serve as assistant chief.
Rayhill has served the department for more than 20 years including the title of police chief.
“The amount of experience, care, and love he has for the department, as well as the community, is second to none,” said Chief Kyle Long. “Assistant Chief Rayhill has also been a mentor not only to me but past officers, and present officers and will be to the future officers to come”.
Chief of Police Kyle Long stated, “I am honored to be able to have Kelly serve as my Assistant Chief.”
Assistant Chief Rayhill will continue to serve as School Resource Officer for the Loogootee School District.
