MITCHELL – You can celebrate the spirit of Christmas in downtown Mitchell on Saturday, December 16.
The Mitchell Parks and Recreation Board will present Cookies with Santa at the Monon station on Main Street.
The Mitchell Community Public Library will host Merry Grinchmas on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 4 p.m. Join officials for the reading of the Grinch followed by festive fun at the Slime station, games, crafts, and more.
Reindeer Games will be held at the Gus Grissom Boyhood Home on Grissom Avenue from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Various downtown shops will join the fun with the ‘Can You Spot the Elf?’ event in the story windows.
Christmas in Friendship Park will begin at 7:00 p.m. There will be a tree lighting ceremony, singing, cookies, crafts and Santa will visit.
