WASHINGTON – In the spirit of the approaching Christmas season, the Washington Jr. High and Elementary Lady Hatchets basketball teams are collaborating with Gary’s Gifting, an initiative of the Washington Assembly of God.
The 5th–8th grade Washington Lady Hatchets basketball teams are organizing a toy drive and drop-off throughout December 2023 at all their home basketball games. Simply drop off a new and unwrapped toy at any Lady Hatchet home game in December.
Please tag the toys with the dollar amount and age group, and specify if they are for boys or girls. They’ll take care of the rest to reach as many kids and families as possible.
The Washington Lady Hatchets 7th-grade Jr. High Basketball team will also have a booth this weekend at Christmas on Main Street.
All donations are welcome.
